Home Away From Home Taking Care of The Golden Age Foundation combats loneliness among the elderly on Sint Maarten. The foundation organizes events and activities throughout the year to improve the well-being of the elderly. By organizing activities for and with seniors, they remain spiritually, physically, mentally and socially active. “Over the years, we have witnessed the development of special friendships and fostered an environment where everyone feels like family, valued, and respected.”

Togetherness
Seniors have been attending our center for more than 20 years. They enjoy activities from sewing and crafts, computer lessons, water aerobics to tours of the island, just to name a few. “We give the elderly a reason to live, love and learn again, but most importantly, to feel needed in society and not neglected and lonely.
